Mobile AR app for City-Skate: making physical activity at schools playful, interactive, and easily manageable through modular video management.
Initial Situation
City-Skate is dedicated to promoting physical activity among children and adolescents, particularly in school settings. Together with AOK, an innovative medium was sought to convey sports content in a contemporary, playful, and easily accessible way. At the core was the idea of leveraging modern technologies such as augmented reality specifically for health promotion.

Development
Based on intensive concept workshops, an app was created that allows users to place parcours as 3D objects in real environments. Tutorials and exercises are provided directly in the app in the form of videos. The content can be managed modularly via a dedicated backend – including playlist and newsfeed functionality.
Result
Sustainable activation of the target group through a playful sports offering with a low entry barrier.
Increased interaction through AR elements and customizable training content.
