The 3D training film for the VDA makes safety standards in autonomous driving understandable, conveys the emotional weight of potential risks, and strengthens internal awareness of regulations.
Initial Situation
Autonomous driving presents not only technological but also regulatory challenges for the automotive industry. As part of its internal training, the German Association of the Automotive Industry sought to emphasize the importance of standardized safety testing for autonomous vehicles – particularly in light of potential risks posed by non-compliant components.

Development
Together with the VDA, we designed a scenario centered around the failure of untested brake sensors. The film’s visual language was deliberately crafted to ensure that technical content remains accessible and comprehensible even for non-expert audiences. The production was completed in 2023.
Result
Complex regulatory topics were communicated clearly through storytelling.
Employees were made aware of the importance of safety standards.
