Application
VR
We developed an interactive VR tool that virtually replicates a real PN98 training session on a landfill site — with a clear goal: reduce complexity, foster understanding, and simulate practical experience — all without physical excavators or soil samples.
Initial Situation
Dealing with contaminated soil according to PN98 regulations is essential, yet often difficult to teach in practice. For IGAWU, a subsidiary of WITTMANN Entsorgung, the training is mandatory — but traditional formats reach their limits: too theoretical, too expensive, too abstract. What was missing was an approach that makes knowledge tangible — practical, efficient, and sustainable.
Project Description
immersive — practice-oriented — activating
The interactive VR training translates complex PN98 knowledge into an immersive experience — realistic, scalable, and future-proof.
improvement in measurable learning progress
reduction in training costs
Development
The foundation was a real training session, which we thoroughly analyzed from the participant’s point of view. This experience was translated into a VR journey — from donning protective gear to collecting soil samples and operating the excavator.
A tool that anchors knowledge playfully and elevates interaction to a new level — at trade shows, in training, and in day-to-day operations. Dry theory becomes a lasting learning experience with real depth.
